Bursch Sport Muffler... sound at open throttle is heaven!
Hopefully this will show the car I have just purchased. :)
And, just to avoid misunderstandings; I do not drive the car in snowy conditions and the Hundai is not my car
Nice! But I guess I'm partial, almost a twin to my car. :)
Hopefully this worked..... 69 E Soft window, originally tangerine, prev. owner had to paint it red in the 80's........
Factory sport seats, & above the bumper driving lights, 5 speed, still has MFI...... runs like a train.

This is a great thread and I am overdue on posting my car. Sherwood Lee sent me a nice photo of my car (driving on the 101 before the foolish "airplane" ticket) on the way up to R Gruppe 2005 in Monterey, so I dug up a few more photos to share with the board.

I just picked mine up last Friday ... 400 miles on it by Sunday, ... what a pleasure life can be sometimes ...

That's the 'E' targa that was for sale for long time, isn't it? GREAT looking car.
karlusmagnus,
I think I have seen that car for sale for a long time around the net. Congratulations on your new early 911!
Erick
Thanks guys ... i am thrilled, and even more so with the whole process ...
Harold was a pleasure to deal with ... fellow early911S+Pelican who did right by me and was as patient as Job .... as a newbie i had lots of silly and seemingly stupid questions ...
I did my PPI with recommendations from board ... no ebay/schmee-bay .... just straight forward honest sale ... what more could a fella ask for.
My thanks again to all here as it was all of you who educated me with your posts, and with your kind responses to some of my PM's ...
The virgin thrill of taking possession of your very first porsche, the nervous excitement of taking off in a puff of engine fuel and growling throttle like a panting game cat ready to unleash its power ...
I have to stop .. i do really .. i am getting carried away, but you get the idea ... i am lucky to have such fun in a more or less legal fashion ...
Thanks again ...
Karl.
