That thing looks fun just standing still!
Low and mean is the way to go; potholes be damned! You can't be truly happy without the occasional clunk of pavement on floorpan! :D
I have visited the site many times but this is my first posting. Here's my 1969 E that I have been restoring for over a year. The original owner replaced the engine over 30 years ago with a 2.2 S (MFI) engine. It has been rebuilt and runs great. I've had all the metal work done and returned it to the original Irish Green with saddle brown interior. We pulled the engine and transmission and completely undercoated the body so it looks as good underneath as it does on top. I'm detailing the engine while it's out and had the transmission rebuilt. I need to complete the reassembly. My goal is to have it back on the road Summer 2006. I've attached before and during restoration pictures.
This website has been a tremendous source of information and I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for the early 911's! If you like to drive, there's nothing better!
CO911E,
Great job and welcome...Thats going to be one beautiful ride next summer.
CO911E
One of my favorite colors. Keep us posted on your progress. Welcome!
CO911E - great colors! Keep us posted on progress.
Shawn... re: the white car.
We're all just caretakers for these beasts, they shall outlive us all. You've done your duty with that particularly nice one... so no regrets.
Well... maybe one regret - I heard Ms. Aniston is particularly fond of guys in white SWB 911s.
Mudi - either that's a 3/4 scale 911, or you are one tall dude!!
This thread is coming up on 1k posts and 80K views!! I'll throw up another pic... the closest you could get to a factory silver 1973 RS.
:)

Thank You for the comment
I sold my '91 C2 recently. I am thinking of selling my '71.
Thanks for the compliment Tom. I think your LWB Tangerine Orange car (you sold it right?) is a great looking car. I love those sport seats from Pete Z.Quote:

like that last one Jared. However, please turn your front wheels to the left of center just a bit.
Saved to file. Sweet car. JCR you are correct, Sithot has perfomed improvements on that white car that are near Pebble Beach restoration grade. It is his car now.
I do have an old family car pic to throw up. Before another picture of that dang green car that you all have seen so many times.
Shawn.
