Got it!! 72 911T Lean-to find!! GOT THE COA
Well it has taken a couple months but I finally got the paperwork on a car that I purchased. 1972 911T with the original motor and trans. Has 14 years of dirt and dust on it right now. Definitely a project but it is all there, except for one door handle, one heat exchanger and both axles. I put it on a lift and hit it with an Ice Pick. Found one spot of rust in an odd spot. It is just in front of the recess for the steering rack on the vertical part of the inner fender on the drivers side. It is about 4-5 inches long and 1 inch tall. No other rust I can find. I did find some other interesting things. I was originally worried about the lower rockers because they were smooth and not pebbled but once I started poking around I realized, when it was painted, they smoothed both rockers and took off the aluminum trim pieces that were originally on the car. Car does have an S bumper, S trim and TTG lights right now. Not sure if they are original to the car, they are Genuine Porsche parts, but have a COA on the way already. That may help confirm. Car was originally metallic gold, then painted 1972 MBZ tobacco brown and then this "teal" color. Car came with the correct flat sixes on it (I needed some rollers so it is wearing deep 6's right now).
