Cool
Nice! I hope this gets some traction. So to speak :D
Finally a place where the Lancia guys can hang out :)
Well, 3 posts in almost 2 years.............doesn't look like it got any traction at all, what a pity - seems like a such a good idea.
Wonder if we can generate a little interest the second time around.
Some shots of the most expensive car ever sold at auction, a '56 Ferrari Testa Rossa, the actual prototype of the model, driven by its owner for the last time on the day the hammer fell at $ 16.4 million.

A shot of the engine compartment taken a few days before in the pits at Laguna Seca.
A newly restored '61 Ferrari 250 SWB Coupe in Giallo just out of the trailer at Sears Point for a few shake down laps.
The maroon car is Bobby Rahal's personal SWB, with which he just won his race.
One of 15 Competition Ferrari "Daytonas", owned and driven by "Chip" Connor.
Wow John, that 250 SWB is smashing.
Here's a nice, varied group of BMW products... have been driving the CSL more often lately and enjoying it.

The 600 is more my speed...
Russ, how long have you had the CSL? Looks like a very sweeet car!
Who owns the M1?
Going on 20 years, Frank... it's a great car, having a hard time deciding to sell it or not. Needs cosmetics but of the five E9's I've had, tinworm never visited this one. Was my track car up to 2001. The 600 is seriously perfect, belongs to a collector couple in Ft. Lauderdale. The M1 belongs to Scott Hughes, he runs with us in HSR & SVRA (and has some other very special BMWs).
Ferrari's are way past my pay grade, but can't help drooling. This unrestored '52 Ferrari 340 Mexico Berlinetta at first seems ungainly, but look long enough and it's just right. And I was so gob-smacked by this little one-off barchetta I have no idea what it is. 225S?
EDIT: It's a 1951 Ferrari 212 Export Vignale Spyder. Spectacular simplicity.
