Does anyone know what the knob is, all the way to the right on dash?
In the Elford Monte Carlo winner.

My best guess is a push button switch for the map light.
It is not shown on the color photo replica car

just a guess - a horn button for the navigator to use when the driver is busy ??

I don't know the usage, but I know it's a Bosch product
In the sister car (toivonen) the luggage anchor is for the Jack.
The button on the dash was not for the horn since in that car the horn by the navigator was operated by foot.

My Guess is:
cigarette lighter.
Vic and others were very heavy smokers, so navigator could light up without interfering with Vics shifting....
If this lighter outlet was for the hand held search light it would not have the knob still in place.
On off switch is on the base of the period Butler lights - not remote.
It does not look to be the same as this Butler lamp light as in the first photo of this thread - but the out of focus looks to have a similar switch base.
yes, I noticed the switch on the map light....so that should rule that out.
here is another photo
the red car. earlier Monaco...also has something on the far right....which, to me looks like the hole of a cigarette lighter.
Or maybe just 12volt power outlet.
