Updated with Air Filters below....The day before Hershey (19 April), my special package arrived from Kundensport. Ed Palmer created a set of Porsche 908 air boxes for the 1972-73 MFI stackes. The real 908's were designed for the 8 cylinder. Ed sized them for the MFI and created them to use the original clips.

You need the outer hose on your heat hose to the thermostat, supposed to be an inner and an outer for better heat transfer.
Is that what the outer is for? I always assumed it was there to protect the inner paper hose from the elements.Quote:

Those look nice but I'm at a los to figure out what they do? There is no filtration and don't they affect the induction?
A very neat looking setup but I wouldn't run a street car "unfiltered". (Race engines get rebuilt regularly.) I don't really like K&N filters UNLESS you follow directions by keeping them clean and oiled. They flow more for a reason but it comes at a price if you are not fastidious about maintenance.
