Andrew,
Check with BeckerNA (
http://www.beckerautosound.com/Classic/index.htm) and make sure your model of Europa has stereo inputs on the auxiliary plug

I had my mexico in for complete rebuild/repair and I asked for their ipod adapter that plugs into the back. Unfortunately, the mexico (which is a stereo/cassette head unit) has mono inputs on the rear and I wanted to use both channels. I had them install my adapter to the stereo inputs from the inside since it was apart already. They provided about 6 feet of cable with a nice plug that mounts to any flat surface. I believe the inputs they tapped into were fed by the internal cassette. A quick call to Becker will make sure of your needs.
BTW, it is a great upgrade and a cool feature. I have not upgraded the speakers yet, but the mono speaker in the dash works well for now. I plan to get the two 3 inch full range speakers that mounts into the dash. I got lots of approval from the coffee meet.
