I’m looking, will post any results I find…also need one.
Is that the correct way the hose is routed and mounted?
Yep ... I believe that photo came from the '73 factory brochure (showing a '72S engine)Quote:

Not to say the factory brochures never showed weird or retouched images ...
Here's mine:
What is #49 used for?
Attachment 599275
49 looks like a plastic tie for the cold start hose 47. The cold start hose is a little larger (4.5 mm ID) compared to the vacuum line which is 3mm ID. My parts book is dated 1973 so my diagram doesn’t match the one above, my book, plate 2/5 also does not show the clamp in the diagram, BUT on page 11 of 2/5 group it lists a clamp just after the vacuum hose, and vacuum T, the second column in the parts book is used for the figure number which corresponds to the part in the diagram. When a hyphen is used in that column it means the part is not shown in the diagram. The clamp which I believe is the one we are looking for is 911 602 103 00 I’ve searched that number and found nothing. We can always make some…

A couple more details, when looking at 72/73 engines I’ve seen the clamp holding the vacuum hose on top of the engine label, like the factory photo, and turned around holding the hose on the edge of the fan shroud. The German description of the clamp has the number 7, and a DIN number, the hose is 6.5mm OD. It might just be the part we’re looking for…
With help from the folks at Stoddard, we identified part 911 602 103 00 as the distributor vacuum hose clip. Unfortunately, all of the typical sources show it is discontinued - no longer available. Fortunately, another forum member had an extra one which he kindly provided.
Using Ernie’s Parts Book reference, I googled: Rohrschelle 7 DIN 1596. Looks like there are a number of Germany sources. This one has what appears to be the most correct plating.

You can always make it from a part like this if you have some simple tools. https://www.aasesales.com/products/c...7e8cc244&_ss=r

Good idea, Ravi. Cutting and reshaping of the clip offered by AASE would certainly work. I did not previously consider that, but before submitting my original post, did communicate with the guys at AASE about that particular clip. I went in a different direction because the inside diameter is larger than that of the vacuum hose outside diameter.
To further assess options, I sent an e-mail to Schellen-Shop (the German company I linked in my previous post). They responded this morning, stating they do not have US distributors but offered to provide a quote.
anyone have an update on this tough to find clamp?
Sorry, Dmill. I was lucky enough to secure one from a fellow ESR member (it was his last) so I did not pursue the other option which was to order a Rohrschelle (pipe clamp) 7 DIN 1596 from https://www.schellen-shop.de/rohrbef...-gelb-verzinkt.
If anyone has one of these they would part with....i am a buyer....Thx...DM
