Same car? http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ad.php?t=28025
Chrome TTG's maybe were added, but the painted wheel crests, RS light weight carpet, etc. look to be the same... and both originally Gold changed to Silver. Too similar. FWIW, Bert sold his car linked above last year for high $30's, low $40's?
I believe that JP is correct. I am embarrassed that I didn't catch it on my own. Bert and I exchanged emails about his car. Bert's car is #212. The thing that put me on the sidelines was that Bert did not have the COA on the car and was not sure that it was matching.

Seller is KING of the marked up flippers imho
Well I kept fixing and fixing the 911E I bought from Jack Molinier. The whole experience was one of the most debilitating I've had with cars. It was a loosing battle and so I sold it to someone for about 1/2 of what I paid for it, which was what it was worth even though I had put thousands in the car trying to make it right. Jack is an excellent salesman just not excellent at much else. What can you say.
Best,
Yale
Sorry to hear that Yale. I hope that you can find another to replace it, and remain in the community, that is not represented by JM.
Best,
Karl.
Here's '73S #212. Is this on consignment with European Collectibles too, or are they both different cars? http://www.europeancollectables.com/..._inv_id=Po2212
Looks to be the same car. The mileage, price, and sticker location is the same. The only difference is the write up at European Collectibles does not state matching numbers.
I spoke w/ Bert at the lit show. He sold the car to Jack.
This car is for sale on the Pelican site also.
Car is now for sale on ebay. Seller's handle is Eurocol.

This is a tough discussion. It should focus IMO on the car due to the questions around the seller. If I was interested I would contact Bert and discuss the car, get an independent PPI and not worry about the seller. He is just making a transaction and is gone the minute the car is sold.
In my experience you're "buying the seller" when you buy a used car. Mainly because they have had months or more to live with it and learn its details. I rely on my inspection plus a seller's information because I find it is always better than a PPI. In fact, I quit doing PPIs back in the '70s unless the car was in a remote location. I've bought over 30 911s since.
In that context, eBay conceals buyer-seller disputes by allowing 'mutual withdrawal' of feedback. So I do not do business with anyone who has under 99.5% positive, and the narrative on the negative feedback shows a minor issue.
I also use Toolhaus' tool:
http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?Use...ed+by&ref=home
Different styles... I do not buy the seller unless it is original, trusted or long term. I am buying the car. Currently there is a C4 I am intersted in I do not know the seller who in this case is a small dealer who handles used cars. The car will have a very comprehensive PPI or I will walk.
I do not have a problem with people who make money buying and selling cars. It is a job like any other.
Wow what a great tool! Jack Molinier can run but not hide with this. He has quite a few other monikers I wonder if they all represent as poorly as this one. He was indeed able to clean up his ebay history and even got all the troubles I had with him excised from this board and Pelican. He knows what he is doing I will say that for him.
