Yeah Don, they're out there!!
Hard work, a sharp eye, and lots o' luck is what turns these gems up.
I found this '73S. 26K original unmolested and damn near perfect miles. Heavily optioned, 911R stripes, rear window wiper, limited slip....
Now in the caring hands of a dear friend.
I'm looking forward to seeing the photos of your new car! Will you have it by this weekend?
The tangerine car is the real thing
It's virtually perfect.
Great find, Jens and congrats to Don.
Yah, but where's the rust??
Don:
Well, you said that there were examples of rust free cars out there, and here are a pair.
But what fun is it to find a perfect car? There is no fun of waiting a year for the refurb, looking at pictures of it naked of hardware, glass and fenders. Wondering if there is still rust lurking in those secret places. Hey, what's the fun of that???!!!  :D
Great find, guys. I told my wife to keep on the lookout for an early S parked in a barn as we go driving around. Yah, sure, she'd let me buy another. Can't wait to see pix.

You live in New York
Nick lives in the UK
The car is from Wisconsin.
Hey, how did I miss a deal like this just across the border? There's an (inter)national spy ring scooping up these rare, unique, original, low mileage cars!!! :D
How do I join? ;)
