I bought an early 911. :eek:
Yes, folks, it's true. I'm the owner of a 1970 911T ... original color: Viper Green.
It's a rolling shell with MINOR rot issues (nothing structural) but it looks like it's never been smashed, it has a bunch of core parts, and I got it for a song and a dance ... literally.
So wish me luck on my new project; the next 2 years are gonna be fun. :o

How many colors has that tub been? I can see at least 3!
Looks like it's all there though (except seats, interior, fan housing, etc). The beauty of having a car like that is that you can do just about anything you want with it - even more so when it's a T.
Hello: That car you have there looks something like my 70 S. Mine is painted bad black like yours and has other colors showing inside. Is the original color of your car Conda green like mine? I was wondering how you could find out how many 70 S cars where painted this great color. One last note I'm doing a 914-4 for a track/DE car but it will have a 2366 4 cylinder and short gears. The car's original color was Viper Green. I'm thinking about returning it to that color but I'm not sure yet.
The plan is to build a twin-plug 3.0-liter with MFI, a 915 gearbox with short gears, got some some ST seats, no flares, 7" wheels, Turbo Brakes, front cooler, lexan windows, roll bar ... I've already got an idea for a license plate: 911ARGH
I sold my 914 - well, it should be sold tomorrow - so I've got a good chunk of change to start with. The project is on a 6-month to a year time frame.
Don't forget to set mouse traps around the intake ports... ;)

Hello: I just sold a car like that. It has 3.0 twin plugged crank fired Weber carbed engine. I kept the 901 gearbox with aluminum intermediate plate, short gears, Quaife it worked great. I'll dig the pics out of the engine bay if you want. I used boxster front brakes and 944 turbo converted rear brakes, it stopped great even on the track.I used a front cooler like the RS setup and AN lines. I used Sparco evo2 seats. My 70 S I plan to use a 3.0 twin plugged MFI injection with either slide valves or the bored out throttle bodies I have on it now. I won't flare the car either and use the Carbo fibre ST seat I have in it as well as a 911r jump seat shell if I can find one. Good luck on your project mine will take some time after the 914 and 911 race car. Thanks Eric
