This is a long shot, but is this the car we saw at Jim Schrager's storage place in Niles, MI during the Fall of '04? There was a real nice Dalmation blue early car with cookie cutters that was driven there by someone from the Holland or Grand Rapids area.

If my memory is correct it came from a dealer in PA around that time and was originally offered at $22,000 then dropped to $19,900 ( which I thought was a good price) and sold shortly after. I considered it briefly but was not keen on the color, but there is no arguing it appears to be a nice one.

If I remember correctly, that was for sale from a classic car dealer near Pittsburg a few (three?) years ago for around $15-16k. That was a big price for a T back then, but it really looked sweet in the ad the dealer ran. It sold pretty quickly.

WOW! But...all I'd need is TWO early 911 garage queens...NOT! Still, for what it is? Would rather spend 40 on this than 195 on an RS that has been around the block a few too many times, then "restored"....

Ladies and Gentleman: Ferrari Testarossas are starting to look good about now. Mid $70's for a low miler with records, service and no stories. 328's, 348's and 355's are in there too but 8 cylinders don't count in my book when it comes to a Ferrari. 246 Dino is ok at 6, though. Countach, anyone?

For a while Testonerossas (sic) were mid 40's cars. You could pick up a 512 BB for 45K if you were sharp. The issue with the 12 cylinder cars are a very expensive belt service every 15 K miles, now it might be 5-6 years between services.

In regards to documentation, there is some but not complete. So, you will ask "How do I know this is original miles?"

A women from Phoenix was selling this car about four weeks ago. We had several e-mails and then she fell from sight. I then found the car on the Holland website. I called several times and no one returned my calls. Very mysterious ownership? The car does look nice. I didn't have time to fool around though. So...I ended up buyng that mint restored 1971 tangerine "E" targa with excellent documented service to day one and many upgrades. I'm happy now.
I have returned all phone calls and emails so I am not sure what you are talking about. The ONLY calls I have returned was someone saying they could sell the car for me. Nothing mysterious about the ownership of the car at all. Certainly wasn't owned by a woman in AZ the last month :)

Brian, that is the same car, I'm sure of it. I remember it looking extremely original, down to it's 1973 US ride height. I went over a lot of the details as reference for my 73, it was in fantastic condition.Quote:
