I have heard a lot of people talking about Gus at PFI being the only option for an MFI pump rebuild for Porsches. There were also rumblings in terms of what happens when Gus retires? Has anybody ever used Wes Ingram?

I think Fairchild's rebuilds pumps as well.

This might help...

Cheers,
I'm using Henry at Supertec. I'll let you know how it turns out, but I have no doubt that everything will be great. Seems to me that he's an untapped resource for a lot of stuff. The guy doesn't seem to get enough props from what I can tell. In any event, I am trusting him with my stuff (MFI pump, t/b's, heads, stacks, case, twin plug conversion).
I've only heard Henry advertise the stack and TB rebuilds, not a pump rebuild. Does he actually get into the pumps now? Can he do space cam conversions?
Yes, he does pump rebuilds, an I've believe he's been doing them for a decade or two. Yes, he can do the space cam conversions. And, he is very competitive. I think people might start to wonder why they're paying so much elsewhere. Maybe he doesn't have the "name" in some circles?
Anybody on Pelican knows he is awesome. I've never heard a single bad word about his work.
What about Otto's Venice? He's certainly worked on more early 911 MFI units than...
...an Alfa specialist?
All I am saying is that I see very little definitive information or word of mouth in terms of PUMP rebuilds outside of Gus. At least the Alfa specialist specifically calls out Bosch and Kugelfischer Porsche pumps as items he works on.Quote:

That being said-- call Otto. You won't be sorry.
No trouble caused whatsoever; I think my post gave impression of my panties being in a twist for reasons that had nothing to do with the thread. :D
Henry did my pump rebuild and conversion to use with S throttle bodies he also rebuild. He did an excellent job in 1/2 the time Gus could commit to and for less $$.

Hey Henry, that shot of the airborne Vodka Kick car is great! Got any more? There is serious wallpaper potential!
If someone knows how to contact Mike Hally in the UK, I'm sure he has more. I hope he doesn't mind me posting his work, but art deserves to be seen by the masses. At least by those who appreciate Porsches in flight.
