Here's Cinnamon, which is probably brown,....but I thought perhaps this was what you meant.

The factory color chart does not give a name and beige is probably a mistake in description of the color. I have always referred to the middle as color as tan and have heard it called cinnamon.
Although I have seen special order 911s with a parchment color (dirty white) that would be considered more of a beige.
I own 2 cars neither of which is here with a tan interior...I will try to get a photo soon.
unless it was a special order cinnamon was the name for beige. soterik's photo is the brown interior although the cinnamon interior also used the same brown carpet as the brown interior. i have an original italian spec car, M34, aubergine with cinnamon leatherette/32 interior all original to the car, a 73S. cinnamon is a two tone vinyl. the background is goldish tan with brownish wavy lines on top. this is clearly visible on close inspection but the overall effect is one color when viewed from even a short distance. Erik if you do have cinnamon not brown in piece big enough to do the dash insert from the vent controls to the glove box i'll buy it. cinnamon leatherette is NLA i've been looking for a long time. the middle example in execmalibu's post looks like my car's vinyl and it's called cinnamon on the kardex
I have 3 1973 911s 2 with tan (cinnamon) and one special order dark brown full leather and strangely enough all three cars have the dark grey (salt/pepper) carpets..

I agree with Steve, the cinnamon/beige is a very particular two-tone vinyl that no reproduction I've seen is able to replicate.

I have a tan 1975-77 dash like that without the speaker grille..
How much for that tan 1974 dash?
I seriously doubt that the interior in the blue 72T is original here is why...
To me the seats look a little over stuffed and the wrong color (to light). Plus there are no head rests and the safety belts are not original.. The paint on the recliners is to shinny and the sides do not have the shoulder/lap belt hooked up although the bracket is there. The bracket is a bolt on so if the shoulder belts were not required in italy in 72 the seats would not have the brackets.
That is just my opinion and I once made a mistake...but only once:D..

The blue car has been repainted as was of a different colour when found.
Probably the recliners were repainted as well.
The belts are aftermarket items, in Italy it wasn't mandatory to have them and they were installed later, so non original or later-type ones (SC or 3.2) are normal.
I finally found some photos of another car, I'm pretty sure this is an original paint car:

Headrests were an option in Italy, so it could be that a car hasn't got them.

The blue car seemed a shade or two off and I am not surprised it was repainted.
It might be possible that Italian 911s had a different color interior material but I doubt it.
I P.S.ed the attached photos of the Aubergine car and this is closer to the tan (beige) interior that I have seen on the US 911s. The flash of the camera might also be causing it to look like a lighter color..
Actually the color of the dash in this post is very close to the color of the 2 sets of original interior I have.
I just remembered that I have a few pieces of a tan interior in the rafters. I will take a photo and send it today...
seats were obviously redone and improperly re-assembled, notice that the tip lever which should be at the top of the bracket is not there in the driverside shot. they mixed up the side brackets for the backs.Quote:

I sold a 73 sunroof T to Germany last year that had been repainted Dalmation blue but was gold originally and the interior was original in excellent shape and it was brown like the previous pictures of the "cinnamon" sport seats. I thought it was called "tobacco"

The sport seat photo is brown, not cinnamon. All of the interior posts but the brown one look like cinnamon to me. Some of the photos are washed out so they look light. Plus as cinnamon ages with too much sun exposure it lightens. The dash post is not cinnamon. My original M34 interior has no tip lever on the driver seat, passenger seat only.

Here is a car as found in the PO's garage some time ago, as it sat "maturing" like a fine wine for many years. I've been slowly bringing it back to its former glory.
The interior, although very dusty, is definitely brown, and not cinnamon or beige/tan. For reference.
This is a tan interior.. The door panels could be a later but the seats are correct color
Tom Dance, may he R.I.P, offered for sale a very nice Albert Blue on tan S coupe a few years back.
If anybody cares to, they could probably search his old posts in here to find it. It would be a very nice reference, as it was very well preserved IIRC.
I thought this was Cinnamon.
This is a Viper Green '72 I worked on 2 years ago. Working from the original dash insert material, under the ignition bezel, where it was protected from fading, I found a matching vinyl and used it throughout the interior. Hard to tell with variations in photography and monitors, but it appeared more 'orangey' than the examples show so far in this thread.
not knowing the exact name of the color involved i was labeling these as "tan". they've been spray painted black with what i thought to be a vinyl paint. whatever it is isn't very durable as it removes easily w/ lacquer thinner as tested on an edge. see detail pic.

these are out of a 72 E and are well preserved with leather.
In looking for the houndstooth pictured, I came across a current brochure showing and naming colors of German fabrics. and found the exact brown and guess what, its called cinnamon and if you ever seen fresh cinanmon its a darkish brown much like the sport seats posted and these 72 E
so I think the light seats would be the tan or "beige" designation

from s 73 911S that are the color you are looking for. They were removed from the car when it was about a year old and replaced with some sport Recaro seats. I have had them on a shelf in my garage for years. If you are interested, I can check their condition and email you some pictures.
