I will take it.
I'll take them. Pm sent
Almost as soon as I put this up the registry, I received an "I'll take it" PM at 2:30 - without a public post. Therefore, pending receipt of funds, the item has been sold.
Thanks for your interest.

Any chance you have the bracket thingy that the strap to hold the bottle connects to at the top? I believe that this small bracket would be secured to the car by the same bolt that holds the cardboard partition on the upper driver's side. Thanks. Tom
It's '69-'73 lwb washer bottle - there's no 'strap' - it's located by a sheet metal 'bracket' at the bottom & the neck goes thro' a hole (with rubber grommet) in the latch panel.
Andy,
On factory A/C cars, the washer bottle is relocated to the LHS of the shelf where the smugglers box door lies. (This is for LHD cars, I don't know about RHD ones.) The small bracket that supports the bottle from below is welded to the shelf, and a rubber strap secures the bottle against the cardboard partition. This is done to make room for the front condenser fan.
Someone secured the top part of the strap in my car directly to the cardboard (probably because they lost whatever it was that is supposed to secure the top clip on the strap), which isn't strong enough.
This begs for a photo, but I don't have access to a camera, now.

Tom - thanks for that info - I never knew that !
If someone has a photo of that positioning of the washer bottle it would be interesting to see.
Keith - sorry for the hijack
Andy:
No worries. I removed this bottle years ago and since I no longer have the car and can only vaguely remember how it was attached, I'm afraid I don't have much to add to what has already been posted here.
Keith
darn, need one of those! if the sale fails, I'd take it for sure!
K-Squared:
Your picture solves a mystery for me on how the pump and tank are assembled. But my tank was damaged and as you can see from the pictures, I cannot mount the pump along side the tank.
One of the PO's used a bungee type strap to hold the tank in place.
As noted by Tom F, there is a metal clip the base of the tank fits into as holds it to the trunk floor.
Maybe these pictures will help some one on how to hold it in place:
The bungee strap and the metal clip on the trunk floor are correct. What baffles me is the upper attachment point for the bungee - it seems unlikely that Porsche would have simply fastened it to the cardboard panel, as is the case with my car, and as seems to be the case with your car, Harry.
This thread has drifted far from its starting point. Sorry.
Just to clarify - the helpful photo was not supplied by me. I believe that my bottle was fastened at the top to the cardboard partition originally - not to an upper bracket as shown, and the firewall carpet covered the bottle completely except for the hole around the fill spout. Also the motor on my bottle was side mounted - somewhat different than the one shown.
And, finally, funds were receieved yesterday, so I sent the the bottle to its new owner. Thanks for all of the interest.
Keith
Keith,
Your description of how the bottle is fastened is consistent with how mine is currently held in place. My pump location has always bothered me as it is just laying there fastened to nothing but the side of my tank was damaged and now I know what was missing.
I am glad you made the sale and maybe the extra information in this thread will assist the buyer.
Thanks for the photo & information - I've learnt something (else) new !
