The photo shows the pieces before plating. I'm looking for a bigger rubber grommet to include.

So I've got some back from the platers. I've got the ones I need for my two cars and have few left. You may not even notices your cover was gone. I think the yellow cad is right for 67-68 cars. The price is $75 shipped in the continental US. I will ship overseas for additional shipping costs. I like paypal, but send me a check thats fine too.

By the way, on my 68', the sender with the threaded stud had been replaced with the new type. I made a simple bended metal strap to retrofit the new style to carry the cover.

Cliff I think they are correct for upto and including MY68. Nothing listed in the original 69 parts book.

From what I can find, they only went on 65-68' models. I think the oil tanks change to different fittings in 69 as well. The parts were missing from both my 65' and 68', so I made a few extras.

The price is $75 each shipped, make me an offer on multiples. I sent a batch to Germany this week. I'm probably going to run out very soon and not sure I will make any more

When hooked to an Ohmeter, it should 10 ohm at Empty and 180 ohm at Full

Hey guys, thanks for the response. I have three left that are kind of seconds. The plating is a little uneven and scuffed. One is yellow cad and the other two are clear or silver cad. I had a few people who asked me to produce a couple more and I had to replace the ones I made for my car. So after replacing mine I have these two left. This may be that last time I run any more off. I'm past my tooling cost and the clear cad is better on this batch, so I am selling them for $65 shipped in the continental US.

While these are now available again, there still remains a problem. As with my cars, I was not able to install the cover due to the stud being missing from the old style sending unit, the sending unit no longer works or the new unit has no means to attach. I've come up with a new bracket to install the cover on the new style sending units. If you have bought a cover in the past, I will send you one for the cost of shipping.

I have a small batch to sell of covers and brackets in clear and yellow cad. The cost is $50 shipped in continental US for the set. If you buy a second or third, they will be $43. The pictures will explain it further.

Seems a pity that Porsche didn’t continue this part for the later models.
