Looks fabulous!!! Love the gold and the stripes!

Special colors love the combo.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. The gold is Glasurit's take on Porsche 'Gold Metallic' using their on-line 'classic colour' mixing codes, while the stripes are early 356 Porsche 'Silver Metallic'. Tried to keep it in the family!

Saw an original gold `S` 1971 model in `93 or so (Pomona,Ca).....it was beautiful.Never knew Porsche had that color available.Your car with stripes,& re-purposed bumpers, seats etc. will be a realooker.....Cliff

local dealer has a 73.5 in that colour (without the stripes!)... your paint job looks so much better...
-
That's one of those colors that demands a great paint job and yours looks awesome. Very rare poppin' color! I had a '72 S Targa once that was originally Metallic Gold that had been repainted red and I always regret not repainting it in its original color. I think it would look great on a Targa with the black top.
