Just saw this. So sorry Harvey. Prayers coming your way. Hang in there.
15 years ago I was driving from Portland, OR down to LA in a 1972 911E Targa I had purchased off an early S member and I stopped in to meet Harvey who had refurbished a set of Fuchs for me. He gave me the tour of his facility and we talked Porsches for a while. I mentioned I was having some throttle and clutch cable issues on the 911 and without hesitation, Harvey grabbed a trolley jack and some tools and was underneath the rear of the car in no time fixing the problem and getting covered in oil and grease in the process. I always remember that gesture and now its time to return the favor.
Glad to hear nobody in your family was injured in the fires which we Aussies can surely relate to. Houses can be replaced.
Looking at the pics of the fire and workshop damage, might I suggest Harvey could raffle off some of the melted or damaged wheels to members who might like them as garage or bar decorations to help raise some more funds for the rebuild ?
Am donating on the Go-fund-me page now.
Harvey, I am thankfull that you are all ok... Thank you for all the support throughout the years... the least we can do is show you our support in your time of need...I wish you a speedy recovery back to our hobby as we desperately need you!

To the Man who donated $911.00 I must say both admirable and clever. Sorry to hear about your loss Harvey. Just your tools alone. Devastating.
That was Freeman who gave the $911.00.
Wow ! the total is up to $68,732 with a jump of over $20,000 in the last day. Well done to all donors.
$500 from me last week. Community has to mean something.
Guys,
Please give what you can... Let's keep this going...
Did what I could to keep it going. I've had the good fortune to have a few extended conversations with Harvey over the last 10 years. Porsche's an SoCal back in the day. He has been very helpful.
To Harvey and family. All the best.
