Ignition issue RS clone, 2.7 CID
Hello all,
When it happened; cleaning up the chassis harness
Decided not to start:crancks, fuel pump running, and fuel at the engine.
Removed lead from the distributor cap, checked for spark again ground (engine case) , decided to spark, reinstalled, its started. Great. While running (20 seconds ish), I reached in to disconnect the gas pedal from the stem, when it released, I bumped the throttle forward, and the wires with my shoulder. Now it won’t start again.
I need to trouble shoot the ignition system, see if I mistakenly cut/loosened a ground or power wire, or any wire that would effect the system.
I looked at the coil, and it has 2 stud wire plug, and the coil is indicating “A” “B” i had my neighbor crank and i checked for voltage one by one, but no reading. Not sure if one is power and the other is ground.
