I also received a similar email!!!!!!!!!!!
This is commercial use of the S Registry member list. This guy has done this for other online clubs as well. Just Google his name.
I imagine Chuck and others agree that this guy soliciting the members here with this spam is inappropriate use of the registry.
It would be interesting to know how this guy got a hold of the member list as he is currently not shown on the list I have...
Me too! He has been trolling for cars for quite a while on the 356 Reg. Many regard him as a bottom feeder.
Me, too! Bottom fisher may be correct.
gullwing motors in NYC . not just 356 but evevrything antique motors$$
likes to beat you up on prices
Please be advised that the Early 911S Registry unequivocally DOES NOT sell our membership list to anyone!!!!!!!!!!
As far as I know this person IS NOT A MEMBER of the club, and therefore not privy to our club's roster........ that being said, it is probably not too hard to aquire our roster from someone/somewhere.....
Our apologies to our club members for any incontinence......
The S Registry
I also thought it was a weird group for them to be mailing to. Just a word on Gullwing, they sell a lot of stuff that looks like it has been dragged out of a field and some stuff that has been dragged out of a field and polished - but they don't pretend it to be otherwse. In other words, stuff's often in poor shape but they don't tell you it's in great shape, they are not Jack Molinier for instance. And if you happen to have a car in a field they will buy it from you, they won't pay much for it though.
He can buy our 356 for $60K.
Or, anyone else can, too, for that matter.
well, i didnt get no email. i feel excluded:(
