Hung,
This is a single post lift right? What brand/price?
It looks like single post, Haven't had a chance to talk to him but he txt 7.5K installed.
Great solution. Love to know what the specs are - particularly the installation requirements. There would be a huge load on the floor or wall anchors...
Single post at centre of inside near wall. Need 240v and 15A.
Nice use of space, however. I have a two post MaxJax and the posts can be detached and rolled away. Not sure about single post ... I might lose sleep over that
Different uses though Merv. The MaxJax is for a relatively low lift height to work on the car. The one Hung's posted is purely for car storage. I can't believe simple floor anchors into concrete would be strong enough...
NFS in CA???
A friend has several single post lifts in his man cave. He is not completely happy with them due to a lack of homogeneity in production and parts. That is to say they are inconsistent. Cables have been
difficult to source and the electrics don't match unit it unit.
Rotary sells the "Revolution" line which are made in China BUT have consistent production quality. They are generally used for car storage but take up a lot of space which is why single post lifts exist.
You do get what you pay for.
Tom
The pic show why he needs one post hoist, to access to his everyday car. I think if you just want to stack up 2 weekend cars the 2 or 4 post stackers are more preferable.
