G'day! Can anyone please advise; my 1968 Targa 912 has been beautifully converted into/with a 1968 911 flat6. The car runs absolutely beautiful and the conversion done quite well but except for one thing, the original dipstick is too short and unuseable. When I first bought it, the dipstick was giving the wrong reading and consequently, we filled up the car with too much oil with disastrous results. Nevertheless, does anyone know an alternative much longer dipstick that would work? Refer photo how the oil filler looks to be the only let down in the conversion...both the angle and the weld looks unsightly. I would be open to change the oil filler too if I knew where and what to source. Thanks everyone.
