Sure glad I saw the 2019 event at Sears Point (aka Sonoma Raceway). Sad to see it move to Laguna Seca. Had the potential to be a great annual event for my old local track.

At least it looks like we’re back to the days of old with CSRG…

Can you expand on your comment about CSRG ? … are they a good group to get in with ?
Just my thoughts….
For years, I loved going with friends to watch the vintage races at Sonoma. Always a nice selection of cars and fun to watch. Very low key and inexpensive to enter. Fast forward to 2019. I went to Sonoma and was shocked by the entry price. I was all the way up there so I begrudgingly paid the price and in I went. It was a great show with lots of great cars and good food. But I still missed the vintage races of old. I’m ultimately glad they’re back. I wish them luck down at Laguna Seca.
I will be racing our T/R with RetroSport at the event, any and all Early911S members are welcome to come by and check out the car!
www.velocityinvitational.com is upon us & tickets are still available. This is an event not to be missed.
Yes, the best would of course to be there in person.... however, if that's not possible and if by judging the very high quality of "Goodwood TV's" live coverage from M-rey historics last August has any relevance....it might possibly be the next best thing...hopefully the commentator has "calmed" down by then.... .../ Lars...
