Batman is confused , the trailing arm bolts are installed correctly , it is generally impossible to install them the other way unless the car was built in late '73 or later and has a dent in the torsion tube .
Was able to reverse mine on my 69 when the engine was out. It was very tight but they went in.
So its coming up on 3 years since I began this journey. I have tried to be faithful to original specs as possible with restoration of original parts or new OEM parts as I have reassembled the car. One exception decision I made was to go with a S front bumper, which as you know is not correct for a 1971S. Test fitted the bumper.
