yes, definitely Russian -- i got a pair of these chronometers from Germany last year for a fraction of the price mentioned. I am quite happy with mine, they keep good time and came with a mounting panel and light post.
The same stop watch set has been sold on eBay again for 1710,- Euro, say 1900 US$.....
