A short take on “Continental” offerings

... around 1973 as the first owner of what is now my 911 was enjoying his new German made car here is a take on some “continental European” offerings as Britain headed into the “Common Market”. Far from an exhaustive review but nevertheless a glimpse into some topical continental carmaker offerings at point in time as collated by the producers of this mainstream show Broadcast on national TV in England. Not sure of inclusion criteria maybe new models? The L M suffix on licence plate dates these continental offerings around 1973-74 so contemporary with very last of longhoods:

I’d say enjoy ... but not sure there is very much to get too excited about, although the little Alfa Sud was pocket sized fun in sportiest guise a spirited little car that I enjoyed when I was old enough to drive when I passed my test some years later.
