you find the damnedest things in your fender !
I thought I would share these pictures with you as I take on the task of restoring 69 911 E number 824. While in the disassembly process today, I uncovered this fairly elaborate evap tank in the drivers rear fender well. I've never seen anything like it before, and can't imagine why it was needed, but someone went through a lot of trouble to mount it, and plumb it. It even has a little drain plug. It takes the evap oil from the oil tank on the passangers side, and runs lines along the back of the tail light panel to this catch tank. It's pretty large, about the size of a 2 liter soda bottle. I'm not sure if this was a kit back in the day, but thought I would post it for posterity
