Broke my fan belt
Just thought I'd seek some solace here on the board. The fan belt on my 914-6 took a dump this afternoon ... **sigh**
Anyone who's tried to replace one of these with the motor in the car knows what I'm up against. Well, at least I've got a spare.
If anyone cares, I could use a little comforting right about now :(
PS: I just filled her up with 100 octane and was looking forward to legging it on the way home - PCH is now nothing but a pipe dream.....**sigh**.....another time.

Oh man, that is terrible news - and the 100 Octane just adds insult to injury. We all feel you pain. Group shrug.

14-6 fan belt location makes me glad to have a 911...you'd almost need 2 elbows on each arm to change a 14-6 belt....

Thanks for the sympathy (empathy?) ....
I got the belt on in about or 15-20 minutes ... but I was covered up to armpits in grease.
Oh well. I legged a little today - man that 100 octane makes a difference.
