Early Sixes - where is the part #?
Shawn (and others),
I noted on another post that you just got some deep sixes. I've noted they should have the 901 part #, but can you tell me where its located? Is it on the backside of one of the spokes, or is it on the inner part of the rim itself? I've read about replicas elsewhere and want to be sure the ones I'm getting are the real deal. If you have a pic of where on the wheel its located, I'd appreciate it.
PS - Jared - I've put a word in for a single piece bumper deco strip. Didn't sound like they had one based on the reaction I got, and didn't sound like it would be soon before they found another one. I checked the 5 early rollers in the shop and none of them had a 1 piece trim. They said they'd keep an eye out. BTW, how much are the replacement kits and do you have an idea of what a single piece would go for? Just so I've got an idea if one comes up.
I'm here but my wheels are not...
Sorry Chris, tossed the MT bike in the back of my truck early this morning and left town. Broke my @$$ and some bike parts. Life is good.
The early deep 6's I bought are scheduled for delivery to my office on Wednesday next week...which may mean Friday in Alaska arrival reality.
If you can wait, I will take some pics of the back side (sounds like porn again) to show the pn and the little graphic fox head. If I remember correctly it consists of three triangles (two little ears and a pointly nose) to make up the foooks.
Unless...someone here can beat me to it.
Tired an beat up, Shawn. :p
