Looks great. That is a rare car as the 68 911T was not imported to the US. Then to also have a soft window is another rare item as in some time of that year the glass windows started showing up on 68 targa's. Good luck with the car Chris
Can anyone tell me what these seats would have been for.?

The passenger seat is an early style seat with the headrest mounted to the back. It was used prior to January 2, 1968 when the later style seat was introduced with the headrest mounts built into the seat.
The driver seat is a tombstone style seat used from the 1974 model year onward.
There were a number of mid model year changes for the 1968 cars. A summary can be found here.

Brett Johnson’s book “The 911 and 912 Porsche - A Restorers’s Guide to Authenticity II” is also a great resource.
