This is all great...but just doesn't compare to the prep a friend of mine did for his run in '75
Car: '73 Targa with RSR engine swapped in a couple of weeks before the event
Other prep items: Esso map of the US, Several Hundred $$$ cash for tickets, bag of ham sandwiches (they accidentally left in the garage in NYC)
Time: 38:39.....Would have been faster, but the Esso map did not have detail of LA
