new asker of old question???

PLEASE !!!! forgive me in advance if this has previously been discussed...

Are owners of 74 - 77 911S's welcomed into this registry??? I know we have 2.7's with GREEN shrouds, BUT....it does have a "911S" designation on the rear decklid...&, it was those nice German fellows at the factory that put it there, not me !!!

The reason I ask, is that the 912 registry graciously includes the 912E amongst there ranks...even though there are those that argue that the 912E is NOT a "real" 912.....however, the 'E' owners are an active & colorful addition to the 912 group participating actively & financially in the registry & it's newsletter....

I hope that my 911S will be welcomed to events & outings in spite of it being an H-series bodied car. What was ment by "long hood"...I always thought of the '74 on cars as having shorter hoods...???(& big 'ol rubber-baby-buggy-bumpers)... :rolleyes:
