Thanks for posting. Pretty amazing to see the 911s sliding around after the four minute mark.
Harris is a good shoe...those old bias Dunlop SPs have a break away that's sooooo gradual. It's easy to drive'm sideways as opposed to the modern radials with a nano second breakaway.
I was wondering about that. What are the rules/standards regarding tires for an event like this? They look pretty narrow. I know nothing of racing. Purely a fantasy at this point.
Basically FIA Homologation 183, except 6x15 is allowed instead of the official 5,5x15. Most FIA cars are running 6" anyway.

Spectacular. I love the high speed vid slowed down. Great effect.
Personally, I would prefer that the vintage racing organizations would require all the groups to run period correct. You would see a whole love more exciting racing - not to mention more cost effective.
Excellent!!!
Nice!!!!!!
That is one of the best vids I've seen of early 911s at work. As Chris Harris mentions, these cars are not evil-handling deathtraps! Just look at the smooth, predictable transitions from understeer to oversteer. Yes, the narrow tires help with the fun.
