"This 2.0 S just came out of restoration here at our shop. It is completely restored and absolutely fresh. Ready to drive and enjoy for the next 40 years. Available for delivery in April 2009. $105,000"
Who writes this stuff?

FWIW; at a buck thirty five I'm looking for something a bit more exclusive than a 911. A Lamborghini Countach and a Ferrari Testarossa for the same price. I get 2 cars, not one.
Why do cars (and high ticket items) go unsold?
a) Because they are over-priced
b) The buying public has no money
c) There is no credit available
d) Cars are not wise investments (they are illiquid and subject to market whims)
e) All of the above
If you answered "d" you are wise enough to recognize this trap.
Employment numbers (over 10% in CA) and the consumer hiding is not a sign of an economic turn-around. If the current administration and the news media would quit burying Michael Jackson on public TV for a week we'd have hard news. But Rahm Emanuel won't let any disaster (MJ's death) slip by where the administration can manipulate the media. If you haven't looked at the Cap and Trade (scam) bill you should because we're all going the take the F bomb on that one.
Now, back to Porsches.

I'd suggest posting the COA if you will, otherwise you could email it to me to aid my research.
I think this thread is worthless with grumpy pessimistic people
