Wanting to replace a damaged oil tank on a 1973 911 - have access to one from a 79 SC. Can I retrofit with this tank - any problems etc to be aware of.

The later oil tanks are different in a couple of ways.Quote:

I have an oil tank I took out of a 75 that I am holding to convert my sporto to a 5 speed when/if the sporto ever goes south. It looks to be a bolt in replacement to me. Not sure if this helps.
