FS: 2 Deep 6 R?
Selling 2 deep 6's both have the same info. Produced 3/69, part # 901.361.012.06. I know 6R wheels have a 03 designation but these wheels have the same reinforced webbing. To 6R or not to 6R, that is the question! Sorry haven't had the coffee yet. Looking for 600 for unrestored deep 6's, unless they are R's then man look out. :D

6 "R"? Are you thinking of 7R wheels which are mega bucks? Or is this something (else) I don't know anything about?
-
There was an early 6R wheel. Part number -03 from what I've read. Same wheel as the Deep 6 -06. Don't know why the different part number.
Sorry Rick those are deep 6s. They have the same reinforcements. It's said that the 7Rs were made from the same blanks as the deep 6. They have common steps in the forging process with some of the last steps in the 7R forging being spun out further.
By the way I'll take them for $600 pending some better photos and description of the condition to michaelfred@sbcglobal.net
Cheers,

Michael, thanks for the info. :)

Sorry for the sensationalism. I was at Klub Sport in West Palm Beach yesterday admiring Bruce Jennings 69S and several sets of 7R wheels but couldn't remember the webbing on my 6's, so got all excited to see the webbing on these boring deep 6's. Now I remember that the 7's did start out as 6's but had the ink stamping.

Those aren't 6R's... but still not boring as 70sat says.
These are 6R's (date stamped late '67) :)

I was just joking around I didn't take it as these were boring. It sure is weird though that the back of yours looks the same as mine. Other than the stampings. Only refering to the webbing. Oh these have love, hearts I mean! :)

Michael you have first right of refusal and Gary you are second in line.
