Did the 917 have kevlar based composites on the engine?

I've heard different things and can't really find a good source of information. I"ve heard that the amber colored tinwork on the 917 was kevlar composite, hence the amber color. I've also heard it was regualr glass with tinted resin, which sounds a bit odd as I don't know why they'd tint their resin. Anyone have any info on this? Kevlar was also introduced in 1971, correct?

There is no such thing as amber coloured tinwork as far as I know.
GRP was definitely on the path of development and various matting's were as well.
Most 2 or Multi Pot resins were of an amber transparent hue in this era.
I made my own surf boards at the time

No Kevlar on the 917 Frosst, just GRP in it's different forms....
