I got news to today from my friend and racer Jeff Kline that his good friend and ex-racer John Paul Jr. is at home now needing 24 hour care with his long battle with Huntington’s Disease. Jeff tells me their good friend’s Sylvia Wilkinson and John Morton are trying to help with a book Sylvia wrote about John Paul’s life, racing career, and battle with this disease. Sylvia is a great writer authoring ‘The Stainless Steel Carrot’ about a racing session with John Morton and Pete Brock’s Datsun team…

The book she has written about John Paul Jr. is titled ‘50/50’ and they tell me ALL the proceeds from the book will help with John Paul’s care and other related charities surrounding Huntington’s Disease.
