In light of the current situation, I'm wondering if my, prized, aftermarket, 356/912 oil filter housing has lost some it's appeal and, thus, it's value. Opinions welcomed.

Can’t speak to the housing, but the filtering medium is riding a big wave!
Always nice to see a roll of TP installed in the proper direction... ;-)

Gettin' too hard to find those filters Jim, prolly should replace it with a spin-on. Trade you for some ice cold Coronas?
Did they shut your golf course Jim?

Yup, the ski areas are also closing just as we have some good fresh snow.

Any pictures of one if these installed?
Sure, here you go:

They mounted in the same place as the oil filter on 356 and 912s. They did require a larger strap that was provided by the manufacturer. I believe that last time one of these was installed was long before the invention of digital cameras. I'll try and find a picture but it might prove to be difficult. Believe it or not, these were pretty popular "back in the day". This one was made by a company in San Jose, Ca by the name of Motor Guard.

Looks like you have a nice granite tile bathroom George, I have to just stare at sheetrock.
