Great idea using a 660cc lump... more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. Wasn't the original Seven powered by an 1100cc Ford?
Series 1 had a Ford 105 engine, which I think is under 1000cc. Other options included the BMC A engine and the Coventry Climax.Quote:
