I need a manual so that i can start rebuilding my engine. I would prefer to have a manuel as specific to my car as possible but if others are alot better then that will work also. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I would suggest you get more than one. Bentley doesn't have one specific for early 911s, so I passed on that for the time being. Haynes is good and sometimes a step not included somewhere else will be in a Haynes, and vise versa. Wayne Dempsey's "How to Rebuild Your 911 Engine" is good, but they use a later example. Bruce Anderson has a couple of books out as well. And, of course, there is the factory manual, Vols I and II for the early car.
