Anyone know if this lever is stock and what model it would have come from? There is a slight sideways bend low and a rearward bend high.

If threaded at top looks right for 65 with screw on 356 type mushroom knob. I think Sometime in 66 they went to sleeve mounted round knob where top of shifter is not threaded. Others can confirm
Porsche changed from threads to sleeve in 1967 , so the shifter could be an early '67 .
It is threaded, I wasn't sure if the lower sideways bend is stock or if it has been modified.
My 65 lever also has a slight lower bend.
901 box
64-mid 66 (nobody knows the cutoff)
not 67
I worked on an amazingly original '67 with a threaded shift lever , so I vote for '67 , or maybe it was an extra Porsche found . The more we learn the more we realize things are not always absolute .
Threaded shift levers were discontinued in March 67, according to Porsche.

Thanks for the replies. After checking my 65 built 66MY 912 the shift lever looks like the one I posted, I checked my 3/30/67 built 911 SWT 500213 and while it is threaded the bend rear ward is much lower than the earlier lever. I think 304065 has it right. But it does contradict the Porsche bulletin posted by Jon B. This is a pic of the lever in the 67 SWT(original unrestored interior)
