Probably a decent car, but not period correct. 16 inch wheels, modern race seats...........
I paid $50 to get into this auction, having been told that a 2.7 RS rally car was to be auctioned. I was slightly upset to find a rather poor replica based on a 71 911E. Bonhams should be chastised for describing it as a "911 Carrera RS". There were quite a few other replica of various manufacture in the same auction: Ford Escort "Twin Cam", Jaguar E Type historic race car, Bugatti Type 35 etc. etc.
I didn't stay to see if the "RS" sold.
Shame on them, they should know better, you would expect an auction like this one to inform if its the real deal o replika. Money back Nick:mad:
