I don't feel like I'm getting full throttle. What kind of travel should I have at the pedal? I just installed a fresh engine are there adjustments missed by the installer?
Thanks

We discovered that the bushings in the pedal assembly were beyond wore out and that I had only 50% throttle. We replaced the bushings and worked backward to adjust the linkage to the motor. All is working well. Hint: If your hand throttle is not working you probably need to replace your bushings.
Hello
Place a heavy stone on the pedal and check if your gross linkage and throttles are full open.

There are three areas to adjust the throttle linkage:
- Next to pedal
- Under car, on transaxle housing
- Engine compartment, under-car link to crossbar.
As stated in the previous messages, bushings should be in good condition. In addition, link angles are important to ensure proper throttle movement.
