Gas in oil.
Well, we all know what that means. Most likely the seals in my MFI pump dried up over the extended period of non operation. I had hoped for the best, but I will deal with it as it comes.
Here's where I need some help. Pelican has some reapair and adjustment articles on MFI that are are quite large (4.3 MB) and are .zip files. I don't have Winzip. If I post the links to the ones I think are what I need, could someone email them to me? Or snail 'em? Also, I'm on a dial up and these things take a half hour to download.
I think I can replace those seals. I have the factory Manuals Vol. I & II, but there is zip (sorry) about MFI in there. Seems to be all 1968, which is fine for most repairs. Or is there another source that is even better? Any help would be appreciated. You never know, I might be the new MFI guy, if I can do mine. Thanks much.

I've got them. I'll email you the files. They are in PDF files.

Milt,
Shoot me your email address so I can attach the files. By the way, if you have stuffit, you can use it to unzip zip files.
Only two of the files are compressed. I'll send you those. The rest are un-compressed pdf files.

Email is mwbwindowman@cs.com
But, Wayne from Pelican emailed me and said they are on the Pelican Parts CD. Let me check that out before you go to the trouble. Thanks.
Edit: Nope. Can't do this at home on w/o some more software. Would appreciate the two files if it's not to much trouble.
Edit #2: Got the files, thanks Bobby. Can't print them out, I guess that's because of the copyright. No biggy, I can read 'em as I go.
Got the cold start circuit working today. The PO had blocked off the fuel hose to the air box. Maybe he liked to run w/o the air box. ('70 and '71 had something a little different for starting up.) Maybe there are some other issues that I will experience like explosions.
