Hood release handle for 67 Targa

Hi, I'm new to the site and hope that somebody can provide information on the correct type of hood release handle for a 67 targa. The handle on my car is round (gray) and has a locking mechanism. A review of a copy of the targa supplement that came with the owners manual shows a picture of a hood release handle that is similar to the one on my car. However, I just saw another early targa that had a black t-handle with locking mechanism. Which style is correct? Or are both correct for the 67 model year?

Also, any suggestions on where I might obtain an original targa supplement for the owner's manual?
