I need he'p from the resident Momo experts. I'd like to know more about this 13 1/2" flat Momo wheel. It's certainly from the day and it has Jackie Stewart's signature.

I have a Momo wheel that I bought myself for my 21st birthday back in 1976. It has a Jackie Ickx signature

At least the wheel looks nice.

Yeah Nick, I've seen that wheel before. I've had the Emerson Fitipaldi with the little badge. Each wheel had it's own serial number. Here's a friend's 934 with one without the badge, but the rivet holes are still there. (still wondering about the flying Scottsman wheel?)Quote:

Most wheel manufacturers have done "Endorsement" editions throughout the years. I beleive the Fittapaldi is a Personal (Nardi) wheel. The Personals are really nicely made, but don't fit on the momo/sparco/OMP hubs because the bolt circle is slightly smaller.
I had a Mark Donahue IROC wheel that was wonderful... smal diameter with an extra thick rim. That Stewart wheel looks to have that sort of grip.

Jol, your post made me do a bit of digging..an ad published on page 21 of the March 1970 PANO: Mark Donohue Leather steering wheel, 14" diameter, for $49.95. Sold by B&B motors of Burnt Hills, NY. The ad pic shows 3 spokes, 3 "lightening holes" in each spoke....porsche crest horn button, Donohue's autograph embossed on one of the spokes. Very similar to the prototipo. Gee, should I send a check?
Like this one Paul? Or something else. This is the Racemark by Raid. Italian Made. Same mounting hole circle as Nardi, Personal, Dino...not Momo.
