As I have mentioned, I have put my lovely T up for sale and as it turns out I am interested in selling to fellow board poster.... what might best method to acquire funds from buyer in UK ?............ any advice/experience welcomed...pls e me jrk@jrkchiropractic.com thanks.......
The easiest, bit possibly most expensive is via bank transfer.
This means no actual cheque etc is written, the money goes from one bank account to another....but they charge a higher 5 fee
When I got my first P=car in the US that is how I didi it....admittedly the money went to my better half out there and she wrote the cheque but the principle is the same.
Perhaps you could set up an escrow (?) acount for the buyer to pay into....then you both have to be happy about to get themoney out as I recall. Not sure.
