Well, it isn't an early 911—but it sure sounds like one. And it's fun to ride along with Mr. G.

One of my favorite 6's.... And the young man who built it ain't too bad either... ;)
I believe I also spied a familiar dash badge........... :D
Well deserved congrats Marco...

I watched this video a few days ago. I know the 914 had vague shifting (especially the tailshifters), but that guy needs to learn how to shift. How many other cars could handle going from 1st to 4th? It was irritating me watching it. I would have parked that guy in the passenger seat.
Very cool. Great job Marco!
So the shifting problem wasn't Matt's fault. He deserves a pass.
I took two cars for him to drive that day - my 914 and my 75 911. My friend drove the 914 to the meeting point so I didn't know there was a shifter issue until I was in the passenger seat. After the filming we took the car back to the shop and put it up on the lift ... the set screw in the shifter ball cup had come loose which was the cause of the vague shifter action. I tightened the set screw and the car is back to being awesome again.
Thanks for watching the video. I hope you guys enjoyed the sound of the 2.5L (that was for sale here until I watched the video); it's a GREAT motor.
You're a star Marco. (Although that will teach you not to do a Nut & Bolt before an outing!)
His incessant talking drove me nuts.
All I could think of was...
shut up and drive the car.
That was a lot of man-boob jiggling going on :D How stiff is that suspension Margo?
Not having shoulder belts made me a bit nervous.
