1965 911- what is Factory correct seat face pattern/finish?

But we know that the Factory reused old photos to keep the cost down, so the date of the brochure will most likely be different from the date of the photos...

My May '65 car still has all its original interior. Seats have 5 pleats front, 6 pleats rear, front pleats are perforated like the 356 as is the back of the front seats.

That's a Porsche of America brochure ("PRINTED IN U.S.A." bottom left) so it isn't dated like the brochures printed in Germany.

It's obviously a very early brochure (even if The Samba says it's 1966). Porsche probably wouldn't have reused a painted-dash 912 photo after they went to black with an aluminum strip and it appears the 911 glovebox door has neither 911 nor 901 script.

Leatherette

For information.
My early 912, production date 4/21/65, has 6 pleats. Material is leatherette with perforations.

In the thread Special early 1964 features on 1965 cars pss narrowed it to between chassis 300543 and 300567. The thread goes on for at least 50 more pages after that post (#83) so it might eventually have been narrowed even more if you want to read through everything.
